On a Clear Day You Can See Forever star Harry Connick Jr. will appear in a four-episode arc on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Connick will play Executive Assistant District Attorney David Hadena, a love interest for Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay). No air dates have been announced yet for Connick’s episodes.
In On a Clear Day, Connick plays Dr. Mark Bruckner, a down-to-earth psychiatrist who finds himself swept off his feet by a beautiful woman (Broadway newcomer Jessie Mueller)—and swept into a world he never dreamed possible. Hopelessly and helplessly head over heels, the dashing doctor must find a way to make the love of a lifetime last forever.
The Grammy-winning crooner earned Tony nominations for The Pajama Game and for his score of Thou Shalt Not. He played Debra Messing’s love interest for four years on the NBC sitcom Will & Grace. His many film credits include Hope Floats, Independence Day, P.S. I Love You, Dolphin Tale and New in Town.
